 THE DAY FOR THE FAMILY The most important thing that we want to find out within this project - everyday life in European families. During the week things get hectic for many a family because parents and children have to strike a balance between the household, school, and work as well as various leisure activities. The parents pursue their professional life, mothers or fathers may be single parents, and many children are looked after full-time. Often only a small amount of time remains in the evening for family activities. Therefore it is important to purposely plan and organize family time at the weekend – but how?
